Functions - Role Of The CCI
What is the role of the Limoges and Haute-Vienne Chamber of Commerce and Industry? How does it work?
It is :
- A public administrative establishment run by the state.
- Directed by an assembly of business directors who are elected by their peers, governed by the Law of 9th April, 1898.
- Supervised by both the ministry for Industry and the ministry of SME's, Trade and Craft Industry.
The missions:
- The Chamber represents the general interests of trade and industry in the Haute-Vienne department, comprising of 9,460 commercial, industrial and services companies employing 62,500 in the department of Haute Vienne.
It pursues missions of :
- assistance and support.
- information and advice.
- training.
- equipment management.
Key figures :
- 177 agents distributed in various activity sectors.
- A budget of around 12 M€ (80MF)
